Affair.

France America

Creators. Founders. Media. Business.

One private gathering in Paris.

Our book ‘Pardon Our French’ begins with a simple question: what can France and America learn from each other? On September 28, that conversation leaves the page and comes to life. Creators, founders, media, diplomats and publishers, together at the Hôtel de Talleyrand. We are Alex and Tom. We will be your hosts.

The address

A historic house for a new kind of conversation.

Talleyrand hosted Europe’s leaders at this table, with Antonin Carême, the world’s first celebrity chef, in the kitchen. The Marshall Plan was run from these offices. The United States bought the building in 1950; today it is part of the U.S. Embassy in Paris. On September 28, the house fills again.

Hosted with the support of the U.S. Embassy in Paris

Two countries that love to tease each other, and cannot stop loving each other. One night for everything they share.
