This policy covers how AT Frenchies LLC (“AT Frenchies”, “we”, “us”) handles information you share with us through our website (atfrenchies.com) and related services. We keep this short because we think you should actually read it.

What we collect

• Email address. When you submit the exit-intent form on the quiz page or sign up for our newsletter. Nothing else is required.
• Quiz answers. Your 8 quiz responses are stored in your browser only (local session storage). We do not send them to a server unless you choose to save your result by email.
• Usage data. Standard anonymized analytics (pages visited, time on site, device type). No personal identifiers are attached to this data.
• Cookies. We use minimal session cookies to remember your language preference and whether you’ve seen the welcome modal. No advertising cookies are set without your explicit consent.

How we use it

• To send you the emails you signed up for: your French level summary, learning resources, and Club updates.
• To improve the site by understanding which pages work and which don’t.
• To communicate about the French Club, our book, and events when you’ve indicated interest.

We don’t sell your email address. We don’t share it with third parties except the tools we use to actually send you emails (our email service provider), who are contractually bound to protect it.

Your rights

Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link. One click and you’re off our list. No forms, no waiting period.

If you’re in the European Union or UK, you have the right to access, correct, or delete any personal data we hold about you. Reach us here:

Third-party links

Our site links to Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, and Penguin Random House. Once you leave our site, their privacy policies apply, not ours. We have no control over what those platforms do with your data.

Children

Our services are not directed at anyone under 13. We don’t knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we’ll delete it immediately.

Changes to this policy

If we make meaningful changes, we’ll update the date at the top of this page. We won’t email you about minor wording tweaks, but we will if anything important changes about how we handle your data.
